Paarden Island Webcam

This lifestream camera zooms and pans from its position on Paarden Island on the R27 near the entrance to Cape Town harbour. During the day, the camera focuses on some of Cape Town's highlights, such as the following: The junction of Marine Drive and Container Road, where you can see Table Mountain, Lion's Head and Signal Hill in the distance. Zoom in for a medium view of Table Mountain. Continue to Devil's Peak, where you can see the King's Blockhouse. Watch the Table Mountain Cableway in action as it travels between the top and bottom stations. Continue to Lion's Head. The camera then captures Signal Hill and the lower Noon Gun. With luck and clear weather, you can see the smoke signal from the Noon Gun, a daily tradition at noon. The tour ends with panoramic views of Milnerton Lighthouse, Lagoon Beach and Woodbridge Island before returning to our starting point.
