Vanilla Live Cape Town Harbour

 

The live stream gives an excellent impression of the commercial side of Cape Town's harbor. On the far right of the picture you can see Devils Peak and the foreland of the City Bowl. The three towers in Vredehoek can be seen on the far right of the picture. 90% of the picture shows the quays, oil tanks and other commercial structures in the harbor. Very nice is the fact that the same basic weather information is embedded in the top right image. The building where the webcam is located houses the Cape Town Port Control Office as well as the offices of the Harbour Master, Port Manager and various other administrative functions. The streaming webcam is kindly made available to the public on Youtube. The camera is brand new and it is still too early to judge how reliably it works and how often the address on Youtube changes due to interruptions. Should this streaming webcam be out of date, please check on Youtube if the webcam has a new address.
