This webcam is different from all the others in that it has a lot of features, but most of all it has a live view from the top of Table Mountain. The camera is mounted on the roof of the cable car station and looks down on Cape Town with a 180 degree angle. The camera rotates back and forth, extending from Devils Peak to Camps Bay and the Twelve Aposteles Mountains. The resolution is first class and you can zoom far into the image without it getting really blurry. Highlights of photos (e.g. at sunset) are offered as well as an archive and time-lapse. On the image of the webcam prominent landmarks and the various districts are displayed in a caption. In short, a webcam with "state of the art" features!
